2.阿拉巴马州简介：
阿拉巴马州（alabama）又名亚拉巴马州，是美国的东南部的一个州。首府为蒙哥马利，辖67县，面积133667平方公里。该州著名大学为亚拉巴马大学，创于1820年，分设于塔斯卡卢萨（tuscaloosa），伯明翰（birmingham）及亨茨维尔（huntsville）。
1985年10月7日，亚拉巴马州与中国的湖北省缔结了友好关系。州名来自印第安语，意为“我开辟了这一块荒林地区”。
亚拉巴马州农业有棉花、大豆、花生。工业有化学、纺织、造纸、食品。钢铁工业集中于伯明翰。矿产还有媒、石油、石材。州内还有林木采伐业和渔业。1950年代和1960年代，州内常兴起民权运动。
